Case Study - Unyielding Commitment to Testing Standards

Inspection Service in China

This case describes our experience during a hook inspection, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to testing standards.

The inspection was proceeding smoothly until we reached the functional testing phase. After careful study of the instructions and discussions with the factory's inspection assistant, we pinpointed the testing location. However, during the actual testing (photo 1), the inspector began to have doubts. He asked the factory's inspection personnel if they were certain about the chosen testing location. The inspector voiced their concerns clearly, but the factory insisted that everything was according to plan.

Soon after the testing began, issues arose. One of the test products unexpectedly detached after an hour of testing (photo 2 & photo 3). The inspector promptly recorded this incident and immediately informed the factory. Upon the factory's representative's arrival, they made a surprising request: could you refrain from documenting the results of this test and conduct it again?

Faced with this request, the inspector firmly declined. First and foremost, they emphasized that the test had been carried out according to the product's instructions and after several confirmations with the factory's staff. They had also thoroughly discussed potential issues beforehand. Since the result had now deviated, it had to be documented truthfully.

The factory persisted in persuading the inspector to redo the test, with the sales manager and quality supervisor joining the discussion. Nevertheless, the inspector unwaveringly refused these requests. They made it clear that our testing procedures were sound and that dissatisfaction with the result should not be rectified by repeated testing. This approach not only lacked fairness but also violated the rules of inspection.

This inspection experience underscores our steadfast commitment to testing standards, unaffected by external pressures. We consistently conduct inspections in a fair, transparent, and compliant manner, ensuring that the products delivered to our clients meet high-quality standards without being influenced by any form of interference.
